What we treat

Speech therapy, occupational therapy and developmental therapy

Three services, each with its own clinician, working from one plan for your child.

Speech-language pathology

Speech Therapy

For the child who has words but cannot find them, or has not found them yet. We work on understanding, speaking, and every other way a child makes themselves known.

  • First words, gestures and early language
  • Understanding and following directions
  • Babbling, sounds and early speech
  • Signs, pictures and other ways to communicate
  • Early feeding support

Occupational therapy

Occupational Therapy

A young child's work is play, eating, dressing and getting through the day. OT builds the motor and sensory foundations those things rest on.

  • Reaching, grasping and fine motor play
  • Sensory processing and regulation
  • Feeding, dressing and self-care routines
  • Sitting, crawling, balance and coordination
  • Play skills and attention

Developmental therapy

Developmental Therapy

Developmental therapy supports your child’s overall development: play, early learning, social and emotional skills, and daily routines. Your developmental specialist coaches you so learning continues between visits.

  • Play and early learning skills
  • Social and emotional development
  • Self-help routines like eating, dressing and sleep
  • Following directions and early problem solving
  • Coaching parents to build learning into daily life

Where therapy happens

In your home

All three services happen in the home. Your clinician builds each visit around the routines already in your week, rather than around a room your child visits twice.

  • Therapy in your child’s own routines
  • No car seat, no waiting room, no drive across the metro
  • Caregiver coaching in the room it applies to
  • Siblings and daily life included, not paused

Who delivers your care

The people who come to your home

Licensed therapists and early childhood specialists, each working within the scope of their own training.

  • Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs)

Licensed SLPs support early communication: first sounds and words, gestures, understanding, and the early feeding skills that use the same muscles.

  • Occupational Therapists (OTs)

Licensed OTs support the motor and sensory foundations of a young child’s day: reaching and grasping, play, regulation, feeding, dressing, sitting, crawling and coordination.

  • Developmental Specialists

Early childhood specialists who support play, learning, social skills and daily routines, and coach families along the way.
