Our story

About Harbor

We built Harbor around the part of children’s therapy that families usually have to assemble themselves: one team, three services, and clinicians who talk to each other about your child.

Our mission

To give every child we see the therapy they actually need, in the place it works best, on a plan their family helped write, and to make the whole of it legible to the people living it.

What we stand for

Our core values

Six commitments behind every plan, every session and every conversation with your family.

  • Steady

Consistent clinicians, consistent times, consistent expectations. Progress is mostly what happens when the plan does not keep changing.

  • Evidence-based

We use methods with research behind them, we measure what we do, and we change the plan when the data says to.

  • Individualized

No two children arrive with the same profile, so no two plans should read the same way.

  • Family partnership

You know your child best. We build the plan with you, and we say plainly what we think and why.

  • Joyful

Progress sticks when a child is willing. Sessions are built out of play, because that is what children are willing to do.

  • Straight with you

Honest timelines and honest answers, including when the answer is that we are not the right fit.

Our approach

Progress, measured. A childhood, respected.

Speech therapy, occupational therapy and developmental therapy each have their own methods. What they share here: goals set with your family, taught through play, measured visit by visit, and changed when progress says so.

  • Visits built around your child’s goals
  • Caregiver coaching that carries between sessions
